Landing Gear 2

Below (Sept. '23):  Once I started wheeling the plane around, I quickly realized that I would never be able to trust the plans tailwheel.  So I made the one below, based on plans I found in a Kitplanes magazine article.  I know it looks like a shopping cart wheel, but it's sturdy and I will make it more aerodynamic with some glass and foam.  As you can see, right now it's barely hanging on to the (inadequate) tailwheel arm; I've basically just got it attached to make moving the plane easier.  Getting a new, sturdy tailwheel spring and correcting the geometry is next on the list.
